JOHN & DEE – WEDDING VIDEOGRAPHY DOCKLAND
One of the many amazing features of our job is that we get to experience so many beautiful and unique cultures. This week we got to intertwine both Cambodian and Greek ceremonies to create something that we think is truly special!
Dee & John had their colourful Cambodian ceremony on the Saturday at Dee’s parents house. We absolutely loved the vibe of this ceremony, it was filled with singing, dancing and the energy and emotion bursting out of the room was captivating.
On the Sunday, our love birds had their traditional Greek wedding. They both started their mornings off at Airbnb’s in the luscious Mt Dandenong Ranges. Dee spent the morning get ready and laughing with her hilarious bridesmaids whilst the boys had just as much fun drinking some whiskey and participating in Greek wedding traditions.
We then met up with Theo from Loco photography at a secluded part of the Dandenong ranges for their first look and location shoot. Dee’s witty bridesmaids had actually organised a quiz for John to complete where he could only see Dee once he had correctly answered all the riddles . Luckily for him he had his trusty best man to help him and he passed with flying colours!
After an exciting and fun filled morning we made our way to Mt Dandenong Church for their ceremony. Wearing an impeccable Raffaelle Ciuca Bridal gown , an excited Dee made her way towards an equally excited yet also nervous John. As they made their second commitment in front of their closest friends & family, our hearts felt warmed, it’s impossible not to see the love & admiration these two genuinely have for each other.
After their ceremony we made our way to Maia at Docklands and managed to squeeze in a sneaky sunset shoot before the formalities began. Once inside, the party started and stayed full throttle until the end of the night. Their was loads of Cambodian and Greek dancing and it was impossible to wipe the smiles off our loved up newlyweds!
