What do Scotsmen wear under their kilt? It’s an age old question – but probably one that Alana knows the answer to after her wedding to Adam at Tanglewood estate! (That’s the last reference to a kilt that we’ll make in this post, we promise…)

From a music festival to marriage, Alana and Adam’s love story was an honour to be a part of and document. On a breezy Melbourne Summer’s day we met them as they were preparing for the celebration ahead. The couple were doin’ their own thangs – sipping champagne with their bridesmaids and groomsmen, fiddling with those tricky braces and cuff links, trying to stop mascara from running as a few happy tears bubbled over; you know, the usual and wonderful pre-wedding stuff that we love capturing!

On the day of their 9 year anniversary, Alana and Adam were wed at the beautiful Tanglewood Estate. With eucalypts and ocean views galore, Tanglewood Estate is the perfect mix of rustic and natural, with state of the art facilities to ensure that you and your guests have a beautiful and memorable day – in comfort and style! Alana was walked down the aisle by both of her parents, and carried an amazing bouquet from The Flower Press & Co. All floral designs on the day were wonderfully executed by the FP&Co. team and featured boutonnieres, a structural piece on Alana and Adam’s arbour, and decorations on their wedding cake.

The cake itself was a delectable three tiered masterpiece by Sweets For Tilly and we enjoyed watching our couple dig into the cake almost as much as their guests enjoyed finishing it off!

We really enjoyed being here for Alana and Adam on their day, it was truly beautiful and so much fun!
