Simone & Matt – two big personalities, surrounded by their nearest and dearest, in a stunning setting! That sure sounds like a recipe for success… and it was!
Simone started her day off at a beachside AirBnb dressed in a comfy pair of satin “bride-to-be” pyjamas, joined by her bridal party – in matching loungewear! As she was helped into a stunning off-the-shoulder Blinova Bridal Couture gown, and fastened the straps on a pair of bejewelled Badgley Mischka heels, Simone’s dad couldn’t help but shed proud and happy tears. Meanwhile, Matt was getting ready down the road with his groomsmen, throwing back a few frosty Corona’s before fixing a white rose corsage to the lapel of his dark blue tuxedo.
The ceremony was held at Mount Duneed Estate in Geelong, where they wed amongst the olive trees under a simple wooden arbor in front of their closest family and friends. We think that Anthony Cribbes, their delightful celebrant, really helped set the tone of the day – love, and fun! Despite the windy conditions, Simone & Matt ventured out into the winery for a sunset photoshoot, and brought nothing but warmth to their reception in the Barrel Room. After dinner, and the cutting of the cake, the tables were pushed back in true blue Aussie style to make room for their first dance as husband and wife, followed by Simone’s dance with her dad, that left not a dry eye to be found.
As Simone put it beautifully – “together forever, forever together”…
This wedding had all of the ingredients that we expect to see from two people who are clearly in love, it made for a wonderful day, and we’re sure that these two will have many more of those to come…
